This is just a small sample of my work to show what I am working on at present and I will updated these images regularly to keep you up to date.
The first set of images shown is a series I produced for the D&AD Student awards in relation to the idea of poverty and chalenging peoples perception of poverty, and these images were given In Book status, and can be viewed on the D&AD Winnners Website.
The second series of work is from a larger series of work titled “Hands of Time: Male” it is a personal exploration of one family looking at the changes in the male form over the progression of time. In the selected images we see a father and four of his sons, ageing from 60-23 years old. The different faces and bodies mark the sitters’ individuality- but on closer inspection the viewer can identify the features and idiosyncrasies that identify them to be closely related.
The Lord of the Manor series of images explores the history of the location over a progression of time reflecting upon what it has once been and I used this to inspire a fashion / editorial shoot. This is a starting point of what I intend develop into a larger body of work, which will eventually tell the story of the house throughout the ages adapting the styling to suit what would be worn at that time, whilst adding a modern twist.
The female topless portraits, is a series called "Hands of Time: Female". In this I was illustrating the effects that time has on the body over the years, and I chose to illustrate this by looking at the idea of generations and relations within the same family.
