CHARLENE JOHNSTON
About me:
I have recently graduated from Blackpool and the Fylde College with a BA (Hons) Photography Degree. At university I have been experimenting with all the different genres of photography in order to find my own unique signature style; as a result at present I find myself leading more towards the Fashion and Editorial side of Photography.
Personally I prefer to use film in particular medium format, and for this course of this year I have avoided digital as much as possible, only using it as a back up and to test lighting etc.

Recent news:
A series of images I produced for the D&AD Student Awards has received recognition, and is viewable on the 2009 Student Awards Winners Website.
I have also had work published in the journal ‘image’ in association with the AOP Gallery and our graduate exhibition FY1.
